Ifyou are more comfortable and faster on a 27.5, then that’s the bike for you. But yes 29ers roll faster generally, but that doesn’t mean everyone is faster on them. People will always say “29 faster, 27.5 more fun/agile” but honestly the difference is pretty marginal. Bike geometry matters so much more.

TheTLDR of it is: 29" wheels will faster both on the uphill and downhill. 27.5" will roll a little more slowly but feel more nimble. And a mullet (or MX) setup is a 29" front and 27.5"
