Ifired up Assetto Corsa, Thrustmaster T300 and gear shifter TH8A. Checked all devices in control panel, everything works fine. But when i launch the game shifting doesnt work. I cant move at all as its in neutral. I dont have a clutch pedal (yet) but double checked i have set on auto clutch. in settings there are no t300 presets. AssettoCorsa. Tryto run windows calibration and the calibrations in each respective game. You'll find the windows calibration by going to the windows search bar and typing in "Set up USB game controller". Click on the wheel, click properties, go to the left-most tab, click reset to default, then click calibrate.

Sincethe Xbox One and PS4 versions of Assetto Corsa Competizione released on console, there have been numerous reports of the game not recognizing a racing wheel. Instead use your regular controller to load up a practice session. Click drive to be sent out of the pits and then click start to go in to the menu.

Ijust bought the game, but yeah, the controller configs recognize all the buttons and sticks, but for some reason it don't work in game. Weird. Guess I'll have to refund this. Edit: Actually deleting those ini files in Assetto Corsa\cfg\controllers - not the presets - as the OP stated in his second post - fixed my issue. Cheers for that.

whyI use these settings. Assetto Corsa's standard game pad settings: even minimal steering input makes the car steer significantly. high steering speed. High steering speed is good when you have to corner sharply. when you need to turn the steering wheel fast from one extreme position to the opposite one, like in narrow slow chicanes.
Contentmanager->settings->Assetto Corsa->controls- make sure your input is set to wheel - > buttons - Make sure "Use H-Shifter" is ticked and then you should see boxes numbered 1-7 and R (for reverse) leave your shifter in neutral and after you click each box, put it into gear. 5 more replies.

Hey i got the problem that after i played in one session, in the next session i got absolutley no control anymore. I checked that ac is recognizing my wheel input - everything is fine and ac recognizes all input when i am in seeting -> controls. But when i am in the pits and click on drive i have no control at all. I thought that i accidently changed
